Digital Potentiometer - Overview
Digital potentiometer
The Digital potentiometer breakout is a device identical to a potentiometer, except that instead of a physical rotating part that adjusts the resistance, it uses digital communication. The board is based on the MCP4018 digital potentiometer. The resistance is adjusted via I2C communication on hardware-defied address of 0x2F. Board is designed for seamless Qwiic (formerly easyC) connectivity—eliminating the need for soldering.
