Soldered Refill 2.0 Kit - Overview
Introduction
The Soldered Refill 2.0 Kit is a restock of the parts that run out first. It holds 100 resistors, 15 capacitors, a full set of switches and potentiometers, transistors, diodes, an LED pack, a passive buzzer, an NE556 dual timer, a large breadboard and a jumper wire set.
There is no microcontroller in the box. That is the point: the kit is meant to sit next to a board you already own, whether that is a NULA, a Dasduino or anything else with 3.3 V or 5 V pins, and top up the pile of components you keep burning through.
Who is it for?
If you finished the Embedded Journey Kit - Zero to Hero or worked through the Inventor Kit, you have the boards and the sensors but you are probably short on resistors, jumper wires and LEDs. This kit refills exactly those.
It also covers ground the beginner kits do not. The three IRLZ44N MOSFETs let you switch motors, LED strips and other loads that a GPIO pin cannot drive on its own, and the NE556 lets you build blinkers, tone generators and delay circuits with no code at all.
