Overview
Inkplate 13SPECTRA is a 13.3-inch color e-paper board built around a 6-color E Ink Spectra panel. The bigger canvas and real color make it a good fit for signage, information boards, posters, and data displays.
An onboard ESP32-S3 gives it WiFi and Bluetooth, so it's easy to build a display that updates wirelessly and runs on very little power. It doesn't support partial updates or grayscale, but full-screen refreshes show colors that stay readable even in bright light.
Like every Inkplate board, it's fully open-source and works with both Arduino and MicroPython. Onboard extras include a microSD card slot, a real-time clock, and GPIO expansion over I2C (through a Qwiic adapter) and SPI, so hooking up sensors and other peripherals is straightforward.
It's built for long-term, low-power use. Run it for weeks or months on battery, or keep it plugged into USB for continuous operation. Battery support is optional, so the board works whether or not your project needs one.
