Overview

Inkplate 5 Gen2 is a versatile, low-power 5.2-inch e-paper development board designed for makers, educators, and product developers. Built on the reliable ESP32 microcontroller, it offers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 (BLE) connectivity, fast screen refresh rates, and excellent sunlight readability. This fully open-source device is ready to use right out of the box and can be programmed using both Arduino and MicroPython.

Its ultra-low power consumption, at just 18 µA in deep sleep, makes it ideal for long-term, battery-powered applications. With a microSD card slot, RTC, and GPIO expansion via EasyC/Qwiic, it's the perfect foundation for custom display projects.
